and its citizens, to assist the city of
Columbus in restoring, preserving,
improving, maintaining, and
managing Linwood Cemetery, and
to educate the public with respect
to the cultural and historic values
of Linwood Cemetery, and for other
educational and charitable purposes.

Historic Linwood
Foundation depends on volunteers to accomplish its mission to preserve and maintain
Linwood Cemetery as an historic and cultural site by restoring, preserving and improving
the cemetery and educating the public with respect to cultural and historic values.

| Volunteers are needed for restoring, repairing and
maintaining Linwood Cemetery. |

Volunteers prepare survey forms by visiting the
cemetery to identify grave sites, and any repairs that must be done. |

| Volunteers help stabilize the unique
table and box tombs that are found throughout the cemetery. |

Resetting leaning
markers, trimming shrubbery and cleaning up the trash helps maintain Linwood Cemetery. |

| Volunteers help plan and stage events. HLF
holds an annual Linwood Ramble in October and a Victorian
Celebration in December to decorate graves. Other events on the wish list are a Sunday in
the Park and a Memorial Day Commemoration. |

Volunteers are needed to be trained as
tour guides so HLF can schedule regular tours. |
Volunteers help teach classes
held on demand for schools, to teach students about the history and
culture of Columbus. |
